Pike Rd, Alabama – Joe Hudson’s Collision Center was built with a long-term vision, a deep respect for people, and a belief that doing things the right way matters.
That vision began more than 35 years ago with Traweek Dickson, Executive Chairman of JHCC and a veteran of the collision repair industry. In 1989, Traweek purchased his first repair shop and soon partnered with Montgomery businessman Joe Hudson. Together, they set out to build something special—an organization rooted in quality craftsmanship, strong relationships, and trust.
From a handful of locations, JHCC grew into a thriving regional platform. Under Traweek’s leadership, the company expanded from six to sixty repair centers across multiple states before its first recapitalization. Momentum continued with a second recapitalization in 2019, as JHCC scaled operations and solidified its position as one of the industry’s leading multi-state operators.
Today, JHCC boasts 258 locations across 18 states and has strengthened its presence in the Southeast and beyond while staying true to the values that have guided the company from the beginning.
Now, we’re proud to share the next chapter in that journey.
Joe Hudson’s Collision Center has been acquired by Boyd Group Services Inc., the parent company of Gerber Collision & Glass—one of the largest and most respected collision repair organizations in North America.
This partnership brings together two organizations that share a commitment to quality repairs, exceptional customer care, and strong teams. By joining the Boyd/Gerber family, JHCC gains access to expanded resources, industry-leading technology, and new growth opportunities—while preserving the culture, leadership, and people-first mindset that defines who we are.
