Our Repair Process

When you come to Joe Hudson’s Collision Center, you can count on the most efficient, high-quality repairs in the industry. Our collision repair process entails ongoing communication, thorough quality control, and your guaranteed satisfaction.

We take all the vehicles in our shop through the five steps below.

Body Repair
Step 1:

Body Repair

We’ll assign your vehicle to an estimator, who will carefully inspect the car and determine which repairs need to be done. We’ll supply you with an accurate computerized cost estimate, and we’ll help you with insurance claims so you have one less thing to worry about. Then, we’ll assign the vehicle to a technician, who will complete the repairs.

Step 2:

Prep Work

First, we’ll sand your vehicle and prime it to provide an even base for the application of paint. We’ll also do a bodywork inspection to ensure all damage has been repaired. Then, we’ll remove any parts that need care and work on them separately. If a part needs to be replaced, we’ll simply remove the defective part before painting.

Paint Prep Work
Step 3:

We’ll protect the vehicle, so paint doesn’t wind up anywhere it doesn’t belong. Then we’ll apply coats of color that are precisely matched to the existing paint, as well as a clear coat protectant. Your car will look like it’s fresh from the factory.

Step 4:

We’ll place any new or repaired parts into your vehicle. If needed, we’ll also perform any final repairs such as windshield replacement, alignment, and electrical systems adjustment. Our technicians will test each part carefully to ensure all systems run smoothly. Attention to detail is a top priority.

Step 5:

Our team will finish by washing and vacuuming your vehicle, cleaning the windows, and completing any final touch-ups. We will conduct a final quality inspection to ensure your vehicle looks and feels road-ready before returning it. Expect a clean, cared-for vehicle that runs like new. It’s what we’re known for.
